Refund Policy
1) Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made from JalEidos GmbH, a Swiss limited liability company (GmbH) based in Bern, Switzerland (“we”, “us”, “our”). It governs refunds for our digital product (a Notion template) delivered electronically via email.

Because this is a digital product that can be duplicated and retained by the customer after delivery, it cannot be “returned” in a physical sense.
2) Product Delivery
After purchase, you receive an email containing a link to a Notion template. You must actively click/access the link to duplicate the template into your own Notion workspace. Once duplicated, the content is generally fully usable and copyable by the customer.
3) EU/UK Consumers — Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union (EU/EEA) or the United Kingdom, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases (the “cooling-off” period), allowing you to cancel for any reason and receive a refund.
3.1 Digital content exception (important)
For digital content delivered immediately, EU/UK law commonly allows the right of withdrawal to be lost once performance begins, if the customer:
- expressly consents to immediate delivery/performance, and
- acknowledges that they lose their right of withdrawal once access/download begins.
Practical note: If your checkout flow includes the required consent/acknowledgment (e.g., via checkbox or equivalent mechanism), then once you provide immediate access and the customer begins access, the statutory withdrawal right can be treated as waived under the applicable rules.
3.2 If no valid waiver is obtained
If the legally required consent/acknowledgment is not properly obtained (or cannot be demonstrated), EU/UK consumers may retain their 14-day withdrawal right, even for digital content. In that case, you may be obligated to refund a withdrawal request submitted within 14 days, subject to applicable law.
4) Voluntary Money-Back Guarantee (Worldwide)
In addition to any mandatory consumer rights, we provide a voluntary time-based money-back guarantee for customer satisfaction. This guarantee is contractual (our business policy), not a replacement for mandatory legal rights.
4.1 Timeframe by region
- EU/UK consumers: You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase (to align with standard withdrawal expectations).
- All other countries (including Switzerland): You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.
We may apply different timeframes depending on your location to reflect different consumer protection frameworks. Where local mandatory rules provide stronger rights, those rights remain unaffected.
4.2 Eligible reasons
Within the applicable guarantee window, refunds may be granted for customer dissatisfaction, at our discretion, because refunds are manual.
4.3 Access/duplication does not automatically block a refund under our guarantee
Because the template can be duplicated and cannot be reliably “taken back,” you acknowledge that a refund may be granted even after you have accessed or duplicated the template, during the guarantee window. If refunded, you agree to stop using the product and delete any copies (we rely on good faith compliance).
5) Non-Refundable / Refund Denial Cases (Anti-Abuse)
We reserve the right to refuse a refund request (even within the guarantee window) if we reasonably believe there is abuse or misconduct, including but not limited to:
- Sharing, reselling, publishing, or distributing the template (or providing access to third parties) contrary to the license/usage rules
- Suspicious behavior, fraud indicators, or repeated refund patterns
- Requests based primarily on failure to read instructions, where the product is functioning as described and support assistance would resolve the issue
- Chargeback filed without contacting support first (see Section 8)
Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
6) How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email support@optima-music.com within the applicable refund window.
Please include:
- The email used at checkout
- Order number (if available)
- Purchase date
- A short explanation (optional but helpful)
Refund requests are reviewed manually. We aim to respond promptly.
7) Refund Method & Processing Time
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
- If approved, refunds are processed within 14 business days from the date we confirm approval.
- Banks/payment providers may take additional time to post the refund.
8) Disputes & Chargebacks
Please contact support@optima-music.com before initiating a dispute or chargeback. Chargebacks create delays and administrative costs. We reserve the right to refuse further support or restrict access in cases of suspected fraud or abuse, subject to applicable law.
9) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of purchase will generally apply to that purchase, unless a change is required by law.
